The main product of the software company SAP™ AG was named SAP™ R/3 until 2003, than it was known as mySAP™ ERP until 2007, when it was renamed to the actual product name SAP™ ERP.
The SAP™ ERP differs from R/3 through the fact that it grounds on SAP™ NetWeaver – i.e. integral components can be implemented in ABAP and in Java, new functional features can be developed as discrete components or even systems.
